In 2002 while unemployed, Jack’s daughters encouraged him to start his own business. IT support back then was about reacting to machine malfunctions, removing viruses, finding a lost Word file, etc. I call this reactive support. Users were incredibly stressed. I had to calm some of them down before they could explain the issue. One user slam his mouse on the wall! It shattered. He went home.

 So, I wanted my IT services to be preemptive and not reactive. I do enjoy hearing from first-time callers and, if given the opportunity, reducing their technology-related stress.
